Load resistor (15 to 90 VA)

Loading resistors with a total power of 15 to 90 VA are designed to work with instrument transformers, the consumption of which does not exceed 30 VA per phase of the input voltage.
A feature of this series of devices is the presence of an additional external radiator for heat dissipation. Therefore, before purchasing such preload resistors, this moment must be taken into account so that there is enough space in the switchboard for their installation.
Depending on the model, the buyer can choose one-, two- or three-phase product. The value of the maximum performance of the series is achieved precisely in devices with three phases, where 30 VA of full power is allocated to each. The resistance limit per phase for the PVR1-110V-20VA model is 605 ohms at 110 V.
The technical characteristics of preload resistors allow their installation in front of instrument transformers (meters) of household consumers, as well as on industrial secondary power supply circuits. The devices are reliably protected from moisture and dirt and can be installed in outdoor switchboards.
